Parent Coaching
for Emotional Regulation & Connection

Parenting can feel overwhelming - especially when you're trying to parent thoughtfully, break old patterns, and respond differently from how you were raised.

You may find yourself questioning your decisions, feeling stuck in repeated dynamics, or carrying the constant pressure of wanting to get it right.

I'm Anya Reddy, a PCI® Certified Parent Coach based in Bangalore. I work with parents who want support that is honest, reflective, and grounded in their own values - not a script someone else wrote.

📍Sessions available in person in Bangalore and online.

Why Parents Choose to Work With Me

Most parent coaches support parents. I also work directly with children.

As both a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist and a PCI® Certified Parent Coach I understand not just what parents are going through - but what their child's behaviour is communicating beneath the surface.

This means our work together is informed by a deep, clinical understanding of children's emotional worlds, nervous systems, and developmental needs. Not just parenting theory.

In addition to my private practice, I work as a Consultant Parent Coach with Humm Care, supporting working parents across organisations including Google, Accenture, and Wipro.

My approach is:

  • Trauma-informed and nervous system-aware

  • Strengths-based - we build on what's already working

  • Neurodiversity-affirming and LGBTQIA+ affirming

  • Collaborative, not prescriptive - you lead, I walk beside you

Parent Coaching is not therapy, and it is not advice-giving. It is a reflective, goal-oriented process that helps you understand what's happening in your family and find your own way forward - with clarity, confidence, and less self-doubt.

“That Changed Everything.”

“I went into Parent Coaching unsure of what to expect. I wanted to see whether there was anything that could help me better support my daughter - a shift in perspective, something I hadn't considered before. That's exactly what Anya helped me find.

Together, we explored what I was already doing well as both a person and a parent, instead of focusing only on what I thought I lacked. We spoke about cultural expectations, guilt, the pressure of being the default parent, and my hopes for my daughter.

The turning point came when Anya helped me realise that my intuition is my greatest strength - not something to doubt, but something to trust. That changed everything. I walked away feeling more confident, grounded, and capable of making decisions that

genuinely aligned with both myself and my child.”

— Christina, mother of a 10-year-old child, Singapore (Online Parent Coaching)*

Common Reasons Parents Reach Out

Parents often contact me when:

  • Parenting feels emotionally exhausting, confusing, or isolating

  • They feel stuck in repeated patterns they can't seem to break

  • Their child's behaviour or emotional needs feel hard to understand or respond to

What Parents Say

Parenting Through Transition, Reflection & Emotional Growth

“I entered Parent Coaching with Anya feeling increasingly unsure of myself as a parent, especially as my child moved into the preteen years. Over time, the process became deeply resourcing in ways I hadn't expected.

Anya created a space where I could reflect on patterns, expectations, and relational dynamics with honesty and compassion. Her warm, thoughtful presence and non-directive approach helped me integrate both nurture and structure with greater ease. What I'm most grateful for is the renewed sense of trust in myself and the deeper faith I now have in the bond between my child and me. Parenting feels more natural, spacious, and connected than it once did.”

— Vinti Mehta, mother of a preteen child, Bangalore

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Parent Coaching the same as therapy?

No. Parent Coaching is not psychotherapy or mental health treatment. It is a reflective, goal-oriented process focused on present-day parenting challenges, relational growth, and building confidence and clarity. If deeper therapeutic support feels needed - for you or your child - I'll always be honest about that.

Do I need to be struggling to benefit?

Not at all. Many parents come to coaching because they want to parent more consciously, strengthen connection with their child, or simply feel more grounded. You don't need to be in crisis.

Do both parents need to attend?

Not necessarily. Some families find one caregiver attending individually works well. Others prefer both parents to participate. We can discuss what feels most realistic during our first conversation.

How is this different from Filial Play Therapy?

Parent Coaching focuses primarily on supporting you - through reflection, emotional awareness, and relational shifts. Filial Play Therapy involves guided therapeutic play between parent and child, strengthening connection directly through play-based experiences. Both can work beautifully alongside each other.

Is Parent Coaching available online?

Yes - online and in person in Bangalore. Many parents find online sessions especially convenient and just as effective.
