About Anya Reddy,
Play Therapist & Parent Coach
“A child’s play is their language; our presence is the conversation.”
Hi, I’m Anya Reddy
I’m a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist and PCI® Certified Parent Coach, based in Bangalore, offering sessions both in person and online.
I support children, parents, and families navigating emotional overwhelm, behavioural challenges, anxiety, relational stress, and major life transitions. My work focuses on helping families build emotional resilience, strengthen connection, and create lasting relational change.
My approach integrates trauma-informed play therapy, attachment-based relational work, and strengths-based parent coaching - creating a space where children and parents feel emotionally safe, deeply respected, and supported without judgement.
Who I Work With
I work with children, teenagers, parents, and families experiencing:
emotional overwhelm, anxiety, grief, or withdrawal

relational disconnection or repeated family conflict
school-related stress or major life transitions
emotional challenges related to neurodiversity or learning differences
Every family brings a unique emotional landscape, history, and set of strengths. My work is always tailored thoughtfully and collaboratively to each family’s individual needs.
Ways I Work With Families
I support children, parents, and families through a combination of Play Therapy, Parent Coaching, Filial Play Therapy, and relational, nervous system-informed approaches tailored to each family’s unique needs.
My work may support families navigating:
emotional overwhelm and anxiety

How I Work
I believe meaningful healing happens within safe, emotionally attuned relationships.
My work is relational, trauma-informed, developmentally grounded, and deeply respectful of each child and family’s lived experience. Rather than focusing only on behaviour, I work to understand the emotional needs, nervous system responses, and relational dynamics underneath what is being expressed.
I strive to create a therapeutic space where children and parents feel emotionally safe enough to explore difficult feelings, build self-awareness, strengthen connection, and move toward change with greater compassion and resilience.
My practice is:
LGBTQIA+ affirming
neurodiversity-affirming
trauma-informed
culturally sensitive
grounded in reflective and ethical practice
I remain committed to ongoing learning through regular clinical supervision, continued professional development, and advanced training in trauma, attachment, emotional regulation, and nervous system-informed approaches to child and family mental health.
