Cancellation Policy for Play Therapy with Anya

Consistent attendance supports emotional safety, therapeutic continuity, and meaningful progress. This Cancellation Policy helps protect the therapeutic process and scheduling integrity for all families.
Cancellation Notice
At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule appointments.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.
Missed Sessions
Missed appointments without prior communication are considered non-refundable and may not be rescheduled.
Late Arrivals
Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time regardless of late arrival.
Arriving late may shorten the session duration.
Rescheduling
Rescheduling requests are accommodated where reasonably possible and subject to availability.
Unused prepaid sessions may be rescheduled within the validity period of the package.
Repeated Cancellations
Repeated late cancellations, missed appointments, or inconsistent attendance may affect continuation of services.
Where attendance patterns significantly disrupt the therapeutic process, recommendations regarding future scheduling may be discussed collaboratively.
Illness & Emergencies
Families are encouraged to prioritise health and safety.
Exceptions for emergencies, illness, or unforeseen circumstances may be considered compassionately and at the therapist’s discretion.
Nature-Based Play Therapy Sessions
Outdoor sessions may occasionally require rescheduling due to:
weather conditions
environmental safety concerns
public safety considerations
These decisions are made thoughtfully with the child’s wellbeing and therapeutic safety in mind.
