Welcome to Play Therapy with Anya. By accessing this website, booking services, or engaging in Play Therapy, Filial Play Therapy, Parent Coaching, consultations, or related services with Anya Reddy, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

These Terms are intended to support clarity, safety, professionalism, and the integrity of the therapeutic relationship.

About the Practice

Play Therapy with Anya is a private therapeutic practice operated by Anya Reddy, Certified Synergetic Play Therapist® and PCI® Certified Parent Coach, offering services in Bengaluru (Bangalore) and online.

Services may include:

  • Play Therapy

  • Online Play Therapy

  • Nature-Based Play Therapy

  • Filial Play Therapy

  • Parent Coaching

  • Parent consultations and support sessions

  • Workshops, talks, and psychoeducational services

Scope of Services

Therapeutic and coaching services are intended to support emotional wellbeing, emotional regulation, relational connection, and parent-child relationships.

Services provided through Play Therapy with Anya:

  • are not emergency or crisis services

  • do not include psychiatric assessment or medical treatment

  • do not constitute legal advice

  • do not guarantee specific outcomes

Parent Coaching is not psychotherapy, couples therapy, or crisis intervention.

Play Therapy and Parent Coaching for the same child may not occur simultaneously unless explicitly discussed and agreed upon.

Appointments & Scheduling

Sessions are offered by appointment only.

Session durations may vary depending on the service provided:

  • Play Therapy sessions: approximately 40–45 minutes

  • Parent Coaching sessions: approximately 60 minutes

  • Filial Play Therapy sessions: approximately 60 minutes

  • Discovery calls: approximately 15 minutes

Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time regardless of late arrival.

Communication

Primary communication takes place via email.

Responses are typically provided within 24–48 business hours, Tuesday through Sunday.

Phone communication is reserved for urgent scheduling matters only and is not intended for ongoing therapeutic support between sessions.

Confidentiality

All personal information shared during services is treated with care and confidentiality, except where disclosure may be legally or ethically required, including situations involving:

  • risk of harm to self or others

  • abuse or neglect concerns

  • legal obligations or court orders

Clinical notes remain the property of the therapist and are not released except where legally required.

Parents and caregivers are encouraged to respect the child’s therapeutic privacy as part of supporting emotional safety within the therapeutic relationship.

Online Sessions

Online sessions are conducted through mutually agreed platforms such as Google Meet.

Families are responsible for:

  • ensuring a stable internet connection

  • creating a reasonably private environment

  • supporting children with transitions into sessions when needed

Recording online sessions through screenshots, audio recordings, or video recordings is strictly prohibited unless explicit written consent has been provided.

Nature-Based Play Therapy

Nature-Based Play Therapy involves additional considerations related to outdoor therapeutic environments.

Parents acknowledge that:

  • outdoor sessions may occur in public or semi-public spaces

  • confidentiality limitations will be discussed transparently

  • environmental and weather-related factors may affect sessions

  • informed consent and safety planning are required

Recommendations regarding suitability for outdoor therapy remain at the therapist’s clinical discretion.

Filial Play Therapy

In Filial Play Therapy, the parent or caregiver acts as the primary agent of therapeutic change with guidance and supervision from the therapist.

Parents are responsible for:

  • participating consistently

  • practising therapeutic play approaches outside sessions

  • maintaining emotional and physical safety within parent-child interactions

The therapist may recommend adjustments or referrals where clinically appropriate.

Fees & Payment

Fees are communicated before services begin and may be updated periodically.

Payment is typically required in advance of scheduled sessions.

Package validity periods, where applicable, are discussed at the beginning of services.

Unused sessions may expire after the agreed validity period.

Cancellation & Refund Policies

By booking services, you also agree to the Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy available on this website.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, resources, graphics, therapeutic materials, and written content, remains the intellectual property of Play Therapy with Anya unless otherwise stated.
